About this programme

There are two concurrent programmes to Bangalore under GIA.

  1. Anthill Ventures

    Organised by Anthill Ventures, the GIA Bangalore Acceleration Programme aims to help technology startups explore the India market and find out more about the business potential for their technologies.

    It consists of two phases:

    1. Phase 1

      A four-week structured programme which seeks to identify participant’s business needs and provide market knowledge and connections that address them. The first three weeks are conducted online and the last week is held in-market.

    2. Phase 2

      An optional three-month programme for participants of Phase 1, this is aimed at helping participants gain market access and clinch business deals by building upon the traction gained in Phase 1.


  2. Link Innovations

    Organised by Link Innovations, the GIA Bangalore Acceleration Programme offers two sub-programmes: (i) 12-week market acceleration programme, and (ii) 8-week demand-led programme. The programme is designed for Singapore-based companies seeking entry into the India market via Bangalore, India’s tech hub, and aims to facilitate market entry by connecting participants with potential clients and partners and offering mentorship.

    The market acceleration programme consists of three phases:

    1. Phase 1: Explore & Define
      Participants gain insights into the Indian business landscape through foundational learning workshops such as legal, financial, and cultural aspects while refining their pitching skills.

    2. Phase 2: Scale
      Participants receive guidance for B2B sales and warm introductions to potential clients, partners, and investors, curated to their needs and roadmap.

    3. Phase 3: Immersion Week in Bengaluru
      An intensive week packed with visits, meetings, and sessions for participants to engage with key enablers in the Bengaluru ecosystem, fostering meaningful connections.

    The demand-led programme offers tailored business matching support, including workshops, curated business leads, customised pitch training and mentorships.

Anthill Ventures
  • Tailored programme
    Knowledge sessions will be curated to cater to the needs of each participant. Participants will also be matched with corporates with strategic alignment.
  • Market immersion workshops and advisory sessions
    Comprehensive workshops will be held to address the key needs of market entry, from marketing and pricing strategy, to fundraising, regulations and talent recruitment. There will also be pitch clinics and interactive sessions with successful founders.
  • In-market meetings and field study

    Participants will have second-level meetings with leads generated during the virtual sessions, and conduct field visits to better understand the ecosystem. Participants will also meet founders, investors and corporates through a networking session.

  • Business lead conversion and network expansion, mentorship and in-market programme and support (Phase 2)
    Receive targeted assistance from Anthill to assess and close business leads, and take part in a large-format demo day, to pitch to an audience of corporates, investors. Participants will receive help to develop their go-to-market strategy, pitch decks and networks.

Eligibility

  • Company has at least 30% local equity held directly or indirectly by Singaporean(s) and/or Singapore PR(s), determined by the ultimate individual ownership
  • Has a minimum viable product with existing customers and/or partners
