GIA Bangkok Acceleration Programme (Demand-Led)

About this programme

Organised by RISE, the GIA Bangkok Acceleration Programme (Demand-Led) offers Singapore tech startups the opportunity to submit solutions to problem statements generated by RISE’s network of corporates, to help them form new business collaborations. The programme also offers guaranteed private pitching sessions to corporates, industry mentorships, and a trip to Bangkok with demo day and exhibition booth at a corporate event.


Key features

  • Pitch polishing
    Successful applicants will get to learn from mentors how to improve their pitch delivery and structure their pitches to address the problem statements of the corporates taking part in the programme.
  • Private pitching to corporates
    Participants can pitch their ideas to corporates and look forward to business matching and networking opportunities.
  • Practical training
    RISE's experts will share practical tips on Thailand's business landscape, culture, regulations, scaling in the market, and more.
  • Networking
    Participants will have the opportunity to connect with ecosystem players in Thailand through a demo day in Bangkok.
  • Industry mentorships

    Participants will be given two private mentorship sessions with industry mentors.

  • Bangkok trip with demo day and exhibition booth

    An in-market trip will be organised for all participants, which would include showcasing the startup at events, such as the Corporate Innovation Summit, through exhibitions and pitches during a Demo Day.


Eligibility

  • Business entity registered and operating in Singapore
  • Company has at least 30% local equity held directly or indirectly by Singaporean(s) and/or Singapore PR(s), determined by the ultimate individual ownership
  • Has a minimum viable product with existing customers and/or partners
  • Seed stage and beyond in terms of funding raised
  • Has the potential to address market needs in Thailand
