On 31 July 2024, Mr Ong Ye Kung, Minister of Health, Co-chair of the Singapore-Guangdong Collaboration Council (SGCC) delivered the closing remarks at the 14th SGCC meeting.
Minister Ong said the SGCC has been an important platform for promoting bilateral trade and economic cooperation between Singapore and Guangdong over the years. Singapore’s collaboration with Guangdong can contribute towards Guangdong’s blueprint for achieving high-quality development through new quality productivity. He added that the China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City (CSGKC) remains a key landing pad for Singapore companies to access the Greater Bay Area and beyond.
